Why Floyd Will KO Cotto

After Money may beats Cotto a lot of these same people will just start to discredit Cotto. And start screaming another name Floyd needs to fight in order to be considered great.

For a guy who's name is Haterfree you sure are a hater.

No one will discredit Cotto because Cotto is actually some good comp.
Good recent wins and is at prime.
When was the last time Mayweather fought someone like that?
Not since Castillo.. No one discredited Castillo now did they?
Even DLH is a decent win but not as good as a win against Cotto IMO.

With all this hype around Cotto /Floyd, I do seriously think Floyd can KO or stop Cotto. It will Floyd /Hatton once again.

I'm not sure if it's just the Floyd haters or the Puerto Rican fans that say this out of bias, but I have trouble seeing how Cotto will dominate Floyd after studying his fighting style.

For 1, I think Cotto has a relatively weak chin. I remember him seeing being rocked by a very soft right hook by feather fisted malignaggi that sent Cotto a few feet back, as well as being rocked by Corley and other less notable fighters.
Floyd , as far as I know has never been shaken in his whole career.
No1 so far has been able to throw combinations at him that have wobbled him.
They say that Floyd is the runner, but its funny lately I've been seeing Cotto always in the back foot in most of his fights, even against Gomez he kept moving around the ring, and we all know Gomez couldn't hurt Cotto. Cotto is not the pressure fighter that everybody says he is.


Cotto is way too slow for Mayweather, his combinations are easily readable,i can so easily see mayweather blocking cotto's combinations when he is up against the ropes, weather the storm, then come back and pot shot Cotto.
I can't see anybody at the moment, who is Floyd's size beating him.
I think the people that can beat Mayweather are the bigger taller opponents.

I think Margarito is the best choice of opponents to beat Mayweather. too tall, too strong, CAN TAKE A PUNCH, and is relentless, and has that long jab to give floyd a lot of trouble.

People will never stop at calling out opponents for Floyd.

Floyd is just on a different level to Cotto skills wise, and that is the difference.

Dude, do you "really" watch boxing? You brought up no valid points whatsoever and your comparisons of Cotto & Hatton are a definite sign that you're biased as ****. Hatton couldn't wipe Cotto's ass let alone even be brought up in the same breath when mentioning guys who can beat Floyd.
The whole talk about Cotto's chin is such a weak excuse. The entire boxing world and the majority of this forum know he's comfortable at 147 and was drained tryin to make 140. He took some hard shots from both Zab & Mosley (who IMO hit harder than Floyd) and walked right through them.

No floyd can not hurt cotto, but cotto can hurt floyd.I don't see how floyd can keep cotto away,cotto is not hatton no way can floyd stop cotto from going in and destroying his body.

Floyd could take Cotto on points but he ain't knockin him out. He doesn't punch hard enough, and even if it was by way of counterpunch, Cotto won't literally jump right into a shot like Hatton did on the check hook. And even if Floyd beats him by decision I don't see it bein one sided. Cotto's a tough guy who can beat Floyd, but it wouldn't be easy for him either.

I see yall still placing to much emphasis on power. Both PBF and Cotto KO's come from accumulation of punches over the course of the fight. Yes Cotto has more power but power isn't everything. George Foreman had WAY more power than Ali and Foreman got KO'ed. Many thought PBF couldn't KO Hatton (not a comparison of Cotto and Hatton) look what happened.

I would say yes PBF can KO Cotto the chances of that happening might not be very high but yes it can happen.
