Barrera Wants Pacquiao/Marquez Rematches

i never said anything about being a ****** fighter.
barrera is far from ******......and neither is erik.
he tried a tactical fight with manny during the 2nd fight. what i was referring to is maybe trying to slug it out with manny. marco did very well the few times he slugged it out with manny during the 2nd fight.
as far as morales quitting. erik just couldn't handle cutting weight anymore. the mind was willing but the body wasn't. he know he couldn't box manny all 12 rounds like he did during the 1st fight so he went all out and tried to slug it out with manny. (cleto-reyes gloves for erik remember?) he didn't quit. he did all he can and when he went down the 2nd time he just knew he didn't have it anymore. remember arguello just sitting on the canvas against pryor during the 2nd fight. sometimes you just admit you don't have it anymore. no point getting hurt. this is not a kid scared. this is a grown man at the end of his career that knew he couldn't win and he tried everything he could. sometimes you just have to get counted out.Comment

Yes, well put. In some cases it takes the best in their prime to realise that you cannot compete anymore. Morales would have still made waves in the division...but the younger, fresher talent is there to stop that. A good thing really, why can't these fighters just leave the past behind (realising they left a hell of a legacy) rather then comeback for the money. A sad day.Comment
