    Barrera Wants Pacquiao/Marquez Rematches

While many will wonder why, Marco Antonio Barrera is still interested in facing Manny Pacquiao for a third time. Pacquiao owns two wins over Barrera, and neither fight was close. The first meeting in 2003 saw Pacquiao demolish Barrera for a ten-round stoppage. The 2007 rematch went the distance, but Pacquiao won a clear decision with very little resistance along the way. He also wants a return duel with Juan Manuel Marquez, who won a close decision over Barrera last March. [details]

I will never pay for another Barrera fight again, he has some huge balls to ask for those fights after not even showing up Vs Pac 2.

            i say why not?

since pacquiao is fighting diaz in june. why not barrera-marquez 2 and winner gets pacman?

i think barrera has enough left to beat marquez. it's not like marquez dominated him. besides i think he wants to get the bad taste of the manny-marco 2 out of his mouth. i think he'd rather go out on his shield like erik did in erik-manny 3.

No offense to the fans who can't get enough of these, but this round-robin of battles these little guys have had lost their value when it stopped mattering who won and lost.

Barrera should stay retired! i think this is what mayweather was talking about in his last interview/"duck statement". Old fighters should quit while their ahead.

When was the last time there was a trilogy in which one fighter already had a 2-0 advantage?

Exactly. I don't think that ever happens in boxing.
