And what's wrong with that exactly, Roy was P4P#1 in the nineties, Joe had to be the one to compromise to make that fight happen back the i.e go to that states and take the lesser money.

Frank Warren didn't want to send him into the fire, The bloke's a **** and Joe shouldve jumped ship like Ricky did.
What is your point... maybe I can clarify.

Don't bother, you'll only give yourself a headache thinking about it.

Look man, no offense to you but this is getting boring and tedious and I really don't wish to spend my evening arguing with someone who is seemingly so pig-headed that he can't accept others' views, to the point where he calls me a liar. Don't go there man, you know absolutely nothing about me.

I posted an article which states, directly from Roy's mouth, that he wasn't willing to take the risk of going to the UK to fight Joe Calzaghe. True or not? Yes, true. That was 2006 and he was referring to his past when he has turned down offers to fight Joe that were made to him by Frank Warren. He was afraid to go to the UK and fight Calzaghe because, in his own words, "I was the man at the top of the pile". Roy had everything to lose, so he didn't take a chance. Now he has nothing to lose, so he's willing to take a gamble and fight in the UK.

Warren also went on video, several times, to explain that Roy Jones and Bernard Hopkins wanted absolutely nothing to do with Joe Calzaghe. Hopkins turned down an agreed-upon fight the day before the contracts were due to be signed. This is common knowledge, and Hopkins has never disputed this. What makes you so sure that Roy Jones was never given offers to fight Calzaghe? You honestly think no offers were made, or are you saying Warren is allowed to go around making lies up about people and expect no comeback at all? Once again, all we have to go on is the information that's out there. YOU are claiming it's bull****, not me, so why don't YOU provide proof? I don't need to provide proof that offers were made and turned down, so please, don't try to spin this around, you only make yourself look foolish.

Please go ahead and provide proof that Warren has never made any offers to Roy Jones.

He was top of the pile, Joe shouldve of gone to the states! the fight would've happened.

          Yes or No?

Like i've said, Joe had to be the one to compromise, but he didn't.

So because Hopkins didn't wanted nothing to do with Joe back then, then neither did Roy?

          You're clutching at straws.

You've made your points, I've made mine. There is nothing more for me to say. When you can provide proof that Roy wasn't given any offers, I'll chat with you.

I don't know what this topics trying to prove, personally I think Calzaghe is faster and throws alot more then Chad Dawson does. Pluz, Calzaghe has a chin so I doubt Glen could seriously hurt him even though glen hits alot harder then he is given credit for. Glen Johnson is a construction worker when he doesn't box which means he hits harder then what people think. In real life if you pick a fight with a construction worker*one who has been in the business for abit* most ppl will probably get there ass kicked. Construction workers build some crazy muscles because they lift heavy **** on a daily basis and in my opinion Construction workers probably have one of the hardest jobs physically on the body, I'd personally go as far as saying more painful then going 12 rounds in a boxing match with a professional. People don't know how hard real construction workers work

Hehe. I know. Two of my brothers are construction workers. I once took a kidney shot from one of them. I didn't flinch, but god damn did it hurt.
