Mexicans were screaming "si se puede" which it was a way of rooting for Marquez.. You gotta be ****** to think the Mexican fans bought the PPV JUST to see Pacquiao.. lol

It proves that even when it seems hopeless for the mexicans they watch anyway because Pacquiao puts on entertaining fights win, lose or draw. Even legends like genaro and iron mike come to watch Pacquiao. I have never seen a Marquez fight with any special guests ringside so get your head out of your ass and get with the program.

I'll bet you all my points and a night with your Mom that Pacquiao-Diaz does more PPVbuys than any Marquez fight that didnt involve Pacquiao.

i think if the rematch with barrera happened before he lost to marquez or if he had beat marquez and still had the 130-lb. belt that the rematch would've done better than marquez-pacquiao 2. barrera-pacquiao still did decent ppv even though barrera lost his previous fight.

Well it would only make sense since he does train in hollywood and spends alot of time in vegas where im sure the celebrities get to see him in action.

the barrera vs pac 2 got excellent numbers especially for a featherweight fight.

The moment pacman came on the scene barrera and morales and marquez have all had there highest numbers with him...and they broke records for featherweight ppv buys.

the filipine vs mexico rivalry or the pacquia vs mexico rivalry will go down as probably one of the biggest rivalries in Boxing history.

Yes he should be gratefull to the mexicanos.

I dont think there's a P.I vs Mexico rivalry. Philippines should produce 2 or 3 more champions to even be compared to the mexicans. right now we have 5 champions and thats a lot. few years ago we're happy with just 1

yeah i just hope philippines can turn out a few more champions to keep the rivalry going.

mexico will always be there. philippines needs to produce more quality guys which i think is what golden boy has planned that's why they went over there. mexico and philippines both has a large population at home and they both have plenty of citizens who live in the u.s. or americans who are ethnic mexicans and ethnic filipinos. having a few more filipino fighters and a mexican-filipino friendly rivalry is good for boxing. look how great the puerto rican-mexican rivalry is?
