You ARE 1 ****** mother****er to think that just because 1 ethnic group is predominant in a certain are that they are also the predominant group in any activity like ordering ppv.you'd have to be a ****** motha****er not to realize that cities always have one ethnic group thats the majority, if it was in Compton, and the "Spanish Last names" were the ones buying the fights would you still think it would be filipinos? gtfo....
"fans might cheer for juan manuel marquez and hopes the mexican can win but the majority of them is there to watch manny. manny fights like how a mexican would fight."
are you ****ng ******? Mexicans dont buy the ppv because of Manny... they watch it to see Marquez whoop his ass AGAIN... The Diaz fight would be total ****, no ones gonna buy that ****** PPV...
If every mexican bought Marquez-Pacquiao2 to watch Marquez, not Pacquiao then howcome very few mexicans ordered Marquez-Juarez??Comment

I think a lot of the people who buy his PPVs are Mexican, but from what I've heard and read he gets more filipino buys then anyone else (duh) and that's the difference in his buys being where the Morales and Barrera numbers and where they are right now.Since they are the ones who are ordering all his fights? I was shock to hear my friend tell me the stats he had from his job at the cable company he said the majority of homes that order the pacquiao fight are not filipino but Latino families. Even when he didnt fight on hbo with larios and solis they ordered it.
He also said if pacman fought a non mexican they would still be the majority of the buyers of his fights.
Also the When floyd jr fought baldomir and gatti very few ppv buys came from the latino market it was mainly African american and Whites...This is what he told me so you can believe it or not.
I guess pacman owes the Mexican people alot of thanks since they basically put money in his pocket if it wasn't for them he wouldn't have been a ppv star.
If it was just filipino buyers his numbers would probally only be 75,000 buys.
He doesn't lose buys with Mexican fans though because I know a lot of Mexicans who like Pacquiao just as much if not more than any Mexican fighter.Comment

you mean Marquez vs barrera it only did 200k ppv buys....the marquez vs jaurez was on basic hbo and they couldn't sell out a highschool gym it was sad.You ARE 1 ****** mother****er to think that just because 1 ethnic group is predominant in a certain are that they are also the predominant group in any activity like ordering ppv.
If every mexican bought Marquez-Pacquiao2 to watch Marquez, not Pacquiao then howcome very few mexicans ordered Marquez-Juarez??
when barrera fought pacman it did like 350k, when pacman fought morales all 3 times it did in the upper 300k and before i doubted it till my boy told me they were legit numbers.
put marquez to headline a ppv fight next and see if he will get more then pacquiao on his own.
Pacman vs david diaz ppv will probably do 300-350k.Comment

simple, because Juarez is a ****ing chump and overrated... you think Pacquiao is gonna do good PPV sales against Diaz??. pffffttt..You ARE 1 ****** mother****er to think that just because 1 ethnic group is predominant in a certain are that they are also the predominant group in any activity like ordering ppv.
If every mexican bought Marquez-Pacquiao2 to watch Marquez, not Pacquiao then howcome very few mexicans ordered Marquez-Juarez??
Ever wonder why the Pacquiao - Marquez fight got alot of PPV sales? dont tell me it was only the pinoys buying the fights! cuz i would ****ing die of laughter... Mexicans were screaming "si se puede" which it was a way of rooting for Marquez.. You gotta be ****** to think the Mexican fans bought the PPV JUST to see Pacquiao.. lolComment

well those 2 are the largest latino communities in the united states and they are avid boxing fans. getting to cheer for julio cesar chavez or felix trinidad hasn't hurt their love for boxing either......
don't know too many people who are el salvadorean , dominican , or cubans. they are a large part of the latino community. are they avid boxing fans as well?Comment
