(Maybe I missed it, but) Why does Hatton think he deserves a rematch with Floyd?

Hatton thinks he can beat Mayweather, that's why he wants the fight. Mayweather has the opportunity for a very lucrative fight against Hatton in an outdoor stadium in front of a hundred thousand fans, that's why he'll grant the fight.
Do you realize the rounds with the least amount of ref intervention were the rounds Hatton got smashed in ,, take your blinkers of buddy and watch the fight and count the breaks in what rounds and tell me how many times they were broken while punching , look at the punch stats the scores and then the KO , Hatton done sweet **** all nothing in this fight and thats a fact live with it .

I agree, the ref had little to do with Hatton being a human punching bag in that fight.

Really need to start giving fair options in polls. He didn't come awfully close, but close enough to warrant one is a logical option, which can't be voted for. Hence ppl are forced to vote for something very positive or very negative.

Actually, I think Cortez helped Ricky in a way. RH was getting ZERO accomplished inside. I don't recall Ricky landing a single effective blow in the clinches, and FMJ was actually doing the mauling, and digging in bodyshots.

In fact, Roger told Floyd not to move away because he was hurting Hatton inside.

But if RH wants a rematch, he is going to take very short dollars for it.

"Close enough to warrant a rematch" would indicate that RH can change something about his fight plan that would change the outcome.

Realistically, do you think that Ricky comes closer next time.... or does Floyd start punishing him even earlier?

Hatton was a plodding punching bag that was not allowed to fight illegally, and Floyd showed exactly what happens to Hatton when Hatton is not allowed to hold and hit. So I ask, why the **** does Hatton think he deserves a rematch with Floyd?
                Why does Floyd want it?

He is a greedy ****. But we already knew that. Wouldn't you accept a bucket of easy money?

It is ironic that Hatton is talking about a Floyd rematch. I'd like to see him rematch Collazo.
