im the biggest Margarito fan out there.. believe me.

but I totaly disagree with this statement. i had an ARGUEMENT with one of my best freinds about this yesterday..

he was stating the same thing and I disagreed,. he even said I wasnt a Margarito fan for disagreeing with him

Cintron doesnt move as well as Williams.. he couldnt take the pressure and he stood right in front of Marg. ANYONE who does that will lose bad...

if you watch the Williams/ Marg fight..Williams boxed well the first half of the fight, he never stood in front of Marg.. he was going, left to right and contantly throwing jabs...its just hard to do that for 12 rounds against a guy pressuring you like Marg does...so later in the fight Marg was effetive cuz Williams's foot work slowed down.

Williams earned that W, he boxed well and when he had to dig deep in the later rounds he did so..

I think if Cotto stands in front of Marg, same result will happen with him as did Cintron, but if he boxes which he proved he can, he should beat Marg, same with Floyd, if he moves well early he can pull out a UD..

Wow from you??? This is a Great post...Williams movement early on did trouble Margarito until he slowed down and Margo caught up with him..When Williams turned it back on in the 12th round Margo lost that round and the fight.

            yes from me.

My claim before is that Marg deserved to fight Floyd, earned his shot. and Floyd avoided him. To me thats a fact. But Im not a nut hugging Margo fan who is biased, He lost to Williams, because WILLIAMS fought a good fight and had a good game plan. Un like Cintron.

Anyone who can box well from the outside has a good chance of beating Margo by UD.

Marg moved way up for me satuday night. he is a serious threat to anyone! he ate some big rh shots form kermit, and never even flinched. kermie ain't much, but he is one of the biggest hitters at 147, and marg was unfazed. mad props to him, and i have to retract alot of my negative towards him. he still needs to work his d better, and is not great in the speed dept, but he is still a handfull, and a monster. best of luck to tony.

With Margarito, his tremendous output and offense IS his defense.

Hard not to like watchin Tony fight. He brings the pain and takes it back without flinching. I think he'll beat Cotto.
