There hasn't been a Mexico vs. Puerto Rico fight this big in a while.. EVERYONE is gonna want to be there. If you know Mexicans and Ricans.. Chicos in general you will know that this fight is gonna be very big to them.

I think the fight should be held in Chicago

Chicago has a large mexican and rican population. I think the atmosphere the fans would provide by rooting for there respective fighters would add excitement to the fight.

When I am watching a fight on t.v. I always enjoy it more if the crowd is loud and evenly match with supporters for main event.

The cities for big time prime boxing are L.A., Las Vegas, & New York. Las Vegas is as neutral as it gets without bringing down the glamour of the fight. Another poster said Chicago and that might work but I'm sure Top rank won't risk it. Face it, it's gonna be one of these 3 cities and Las Vegas is the most neutral. Plus Vegas has already overtaken New York as far as big boxing events go.

agreed with most of what you say just saying that Vegas wont be as neutral as we think because I know a lot of people will make the trip from LA which is basically Tony's base for all his camps and a regular fixture in the city. His popularity in LA is probably bigger than his popularity in Mexico

True, but I'm sure the Puerto Ricans will show up. I'm from so.cal. and everytime I'm driving down the road I see a car with the puerto rican flag hanging on the rearview mirror, all the time. There's more puerto ricans on the west coast than there is mexicans on the east coast.
