Should Cotto/Margarito be held in NY or Vegas?

Vegas probably makes more money but it would be awesome to have the fight at Yankee Stadium. This is the last year of the old Yankee Stadium and it would be a nice send off for the old girl.

What are your thoughts? Which venue would make most sense to have this fight held at?

i think since cotto is considered the champ and margarito the challenger it may very well be cotto's choice and he will probably choose NY and i dont blame him...its like his home away from home.

I personally think New York is the place to do it anyway.

Cotto does well in the state of NY (with the fans coming out to see the fights).

but soley as a fan it doesnt matter...maybe moneywise this all factors in but i live several driving hours away from vegas (like about 9hrs.) and a 6 hour flight away from NY...so to me its not going to make a difference...i will be watching it at home either way.

im sure vegas gets bigger revenue but NY brings in more of the hardcore fans of cotto.

If they can get the glove rule changed, Vegas sounds good to me.

Just not better than MSG would be...

And getting 12k Cotto and Margarito fans should not be a problem at all. In fact I think it'd be a quick sell out if it were at Mandalay or MGM.
