If the roles were reversed, Mayweather would be doing everything in his power to get a rematch.

Hatton should not even mention wanting to fight Floyd at 140, thats a good way to get the fight cancelled and be out of a chance for redemption (and alot of money). Hatton better just be grateful he gets a chance to fight floyd stay away from makin demands (weight, venue, ref, etc...) Floyd doesnt need to fight him he needs floyd and Im sure Floyd has no problem fighting someone else
Paulie's chin is DEFINATELY NOT suspect.

He took an utter beating from cotto; granted he went down but he heard the final bell.

cotto isnt a one punch knockout type of fighter but he lays it on thick and picks you apart. paulie survived and had a lot of heart.

If his chin was weak cotto would have won via knockout (he was getting beat that bad)

and since when does a fighter need power to keep someone off of them?

especially when paulie is the superior boxer (BY FAR).

All paulie needs to do is USE those boxing skills; utilize the jab and dance around hatton all night.

If paulie's conditioning holds up he wont have THAT much of a problem. when hatton gets inside just simply tie him up and allow the ref to seperate them and continue sticking and moving...

paulie has the height and reach advantage.
            5'8 1/2 for paulie
            70" reach for paulie

            5'6 1/2 for hatton
            65" reach for hatton

and thats EXACTLY how paulie wants it. paulie wants to be the taller figher with the reach so he can stay on the outside and keep hatton away with the jab; good defense; and good countering (especially when hatton starts with the wide looping punches).

hatton's only choice is to fight on the inside.

even if he was taller with the longer reach he has no choice but to fight on the inside because if he decided to try to outbox paulie he would get schooled. plain and simple.

hatton wants to make it rough and physical by getting inside and roughing up paulie...paulie wants to use his jab to keep hatton at bay and turn it into a classic boxer v. boxer type match.

I think paulie has all the tools to win.

I'm going to root so ****ing hard for Paulie Malignaggi in the fall. In fact, if the fight's at the Garden, I'll be there 100% behind Paulie.

This is completely ****ing absurd that a Mayweather/Hatton rematch is being discussed. Shame on all parties.

                come man

                THIS IS BULL****
                HATTON NEEDS TO FIGHT WITTER
                MAYWEATHER NEEDS TO FIGHT COTTO
                THAT'S IT
WHO the hell wants to see hatton get knocked on his ass again?
If after Cotto beats Margarito and floyd doesn't fight cotto
I'm not sure how big of a floyd fan i'll be

Hatton should focus on winning his next two fights. Paulie m will outbox him no way hatton can knock out. If anything hatton has the questionable chin.

Yes Cotto did not knock ouy Paulie but that was more than 2 years ago. Cotto was not even close to the boxer he is today. Cotto would kill Paulie if they fought today.

Yes I think Hattons chin i suspect too but Paulie doesnt have the power to test it, all that outboxing stuff goes out the window when fighting hatton. Even Floyd couldnt settle for outboxing he had to FIGHT and lay him down. Paulie cant do that

Paulie may be slick enough to not get hit and go the distance, he doesnt win though. Not even close
