Great news! I'm about 60/40 for Tony. I see Cotto starting off strong and boxing. But we've all seen Tony get stronger as the fight goes. He did this last night and I think he would have eventually stopped Williams in a 15 round fight. Late stoppage for Margarito. Viva el Tijuana Tornado!

After WBA welterweight champion Miguel Cotto demolished The Contender's Alfonso Gomez and Antonio Margarito destroyed Kermit Cintron to take the IBF welterweight belt, promoter Bob Arum said he is looking to match Cotto and Margarito on July 26th at a site to be named. There is the isssue of Margarito's IBF mandatory against Top Rank-promoted Joshua Clottey, but it is expected that Cotto-Margarito will be a go, although a deal still has to be reached. More to come...

Both fighters have power. Cotto has speed which suprised me against Mosley. Margarito has height advantage.

Its a toss up but i am picking Cotto by a close decision.

Guarantee Cotto and his camp throughout their training camp will be watching the Clottey-Marg fight and train towards replicating the first 4 rounds of that fight to last the full 12 for them. The more I think about it the more I see Cotto outboxing Marg with ease just on the simple fact if Clottey could do it Cotto definitely can. But Clottey is a decent height 5'9 so physically it wasn't as 1 sided as Marg Cotto will be IMO. I still think though that the midget will put on a boxing exhibition and make marg look slow but by no means can he get drawn into Tony's fight. When Cotto picks his spots to trade that will be exciting as ****. I'm surprised not that many people here haven't realized how much bigger Marg is. Guarantee there'll be some funny pics of Cotto-Marg staredowns bald hobbit vs big ugly orc.

Clottey is very underrated. Prolly one of the better WW out there. Has bad hands though, too bad. However, I still say Cotto loses to Margarito. Margarito has a great size advantage, good left and right hand. Plus dont sleep on that great uppercut he has,.. one that Cotto is a sucker for.. just ask Zab Judah. Cotto got caught a few times, was in trouble and quickly went for that low blow. ;-) We dont mind though.. it aint no tickling contest!!!! Cant wait!!!!

after watching the post presser video i think Arum is just waiting for Floyd to call him and tell him if he wants to fight Cotto, he was talking **** about him from the beginning, lets see if this **** really does get signed..
