Cotto is just better than Margarito plain and simple. Right now unlike Floyd, Cotto wants to prove he's the best and this is the time to do it. Margarito is hot after the Cintron fight and for Cotto to dominate Margarito would just be huge. Cotto focus and determination are scary for his opponents and Margo is just a stepping stone on his way to greatness that's going to get stomped over.

Oh Man!! This fight will be a brutal slugfest! Stylistically Maragarito is a verry difficult opponent for Cotto because Margarito has a granite chin and an hard punch and he also has a high workrate. If Cotto goes toe to toe with thsi man he could lose this fight, i think he should use his boxing skills a bit more cause hes much more skilled than Margarito. Cotto will not be able to stop Margarito, at least not with headpunches. He should focus the body from margarito but at the same time he has to be careful and patient. The most likely scenario is Cotto UD. I think Cotto will not fight that spectacular, i think he will fight like he did against Mosley. Its also likely that Cotto will kiss the canvas, baybe not just once but wice but at the end he will win the fight.

According to Tony , he was promised the fight. If it don't happen, then it would be obvious who Arum favors out of the two. A fight bwteen Cotto and Mayorga would be brutal, but a big step backwards in terms of meaning for Cotto.

You have to be kidding! If Cotto takes a good shot on the chin, it's over for him because he doesn't have a chin. Secondly, Cotto can't hurt Margarito with body shots. No one has ever hurt Margarito with body shots. Thirdly, Cotto will not take any chances fighting on the inside because he'll be giving-up the fight. There's is no way Cotto can win. He is not a pressure fighter. At least not against real fighters.
