Margarito is not that great of a puncher, imo. His pressure works on guys who will come to you and cooperate with your gameplan. We've all seen him look like a fish out of water when his opponent doesn't do just that.

Why should Floyd get the blame for not going toe-to-toe? If Margarito is so limited that a little footwork would throw away his chances of a W, then that's on him.

you think the casual fan understands that? if they did, they wouldnt have reacted the way they did in the baldomir fight. that was an exhibition of perfect boxing.

Yes it was, which is why I ike the FLoyd Baldomir fight... not for the back and forth slugfest that was non-existent, but for the display of PERFECT boxing.

No it wasn't. Perfect boxing would include more clean effective punching. It was more a case of Floyd not having to box perfect because Baldy was so outclassed.

Acklowedging getting hit, wont win you the fight...

With that said, I loved margarito tonight...

The difference is Cintron is there to be hit, and floyd is not... which is pretty much the BIGGEST difference between floyd and everyone else... can, and how... will you hit him...
Just what I was going to post........ Floyd would run circles around Margarito, but there is always that excitment of Marg landing a good puch. I would want toe see this fight even though my logic says Floyd wins an easy UD.
