On top of that, floyd will be inactive for the longest in his career, and Oscar will actually be the active one this time.. and alos having Floyd SR. in his corner can ONLY help him... im not saying he will win, because he mostly likely wont, but i dont piss on the fight, like a lot of people
wow 3:45 guess i got a lil too excited about marg win
anyway i wouldnt mind this fight so much if it was made inmediatly after the first one but to schedule it now and in september which means its the only fight for floyd this year
feels like a slap in the face for the fans and the welterweight contenders

I agree with yuo man, thats what your not understanding.. its not the fight i wanna see.. i wanna see marg vs floyd or shane vs floyd or cotto vs floyd

I just DONT look at oscar like a piece of paper in the wind... theres actually a lot going against floyd in this fight IMO

-all the fame, the distrations, the money

-Being inactive for 10 1/2 months

-Oscar actually being active, and fighting 5 months later to be fresh

-Floyd sr in his corner... Floyd sr was in floyds gym the ENTIRE time he trained for oscar the first time... SR knows EVERYTHING they did to prepare for oscar.. this is huge IMO

-The BIGGEST thing everyone knows that lost the fight for Oscar is the jab... its huge to know that, and see it, and correct it

Im not saying Oscar will win... id put money that Floyd wins... but the fight certainly isnt a Cotto Gomez mismatch, that the haters would like to have you believe.

It's 9 months of inactivity. December 8th to September 13 or 20. That's his longest, but not much longer than the 8 months between the Corley and Bruseles fight. Judah and Baldomir were 7 months apart, as were De La Hoya and Hatton.

I don't really care much for the whole soap opera thing. I think it's a little sick that Floyd Sr. is training someone to beat his son. This is different than a basketball coach going against his son's team. Boxing's a remarkably violent and dangerous sport.

I'm still pissed that Mayweather and Cotto are not fighting yet. But it's funny how people are acting like if Floyd actually wanted Cotto, that the fight would happen really soon.

It would be Cotto-De La Hoya.

Its also funny how, although Cotto Floyd would be huge... that the winner would be anyone BUT floyd... Cotto is to Gomez, what Floyd is to Cotto...

And I like cotto, actually in the last month u find more negative posts about floyd from me, and more positive posts about cotto from me...

The biggest difference between Floyd and every other fighter is, you simply can not hit him flush... he doesnt get tired.. EVER... and he can adapt to anything in the ring.

cotto is to gomez what floyd is to cotto? thats just ree****yaluss
floyd aint gonna knock down cotto in every round till the doctor stops it for mercy
cotto imo has the best chance at beating floyd im a big marg fan but quite frankly hes slow so cotto has a much better chance with his deadly body punching speed and boxing skills
who u think can beat floyd at welter?
