I think Taylor would beat him too, Taylor is @ 168 now though.

Winky, Sturm and Abraham can beat Mundine. Abraham is toss up, but he can pull it off. And Pavlik destroys him.

Why are you backing Hopkins over Calzaghe?

In all fairness this fight is not a true indication , he had no amature and only 10 fights in life total at the time and was an ex football player turned boxer and just got caught with a temple shot , he would KO Ottke a year later , but I stand by my comment that the top guys will beat him ,, if he ever ventures outside his security blanket of Aus .

Mundine is a hard guy to rate, he looks like he has all the tools to beat anyone but sometimes he looks lazy.

I would like to see him undisputed but I wouldnt bet money on it at this point.

Not not at all. Calzaghe is one of my favorite fighters, but I just wanted to bet .. And since it's easier to get a bet on Hopkins, I just did that.

Im not trying to sound like a hugger here, but MW is a division that would suit Mundine perfectly. If he can bring his handspeed and power down, he can do some serious damage in this division. Hes got great defence. So the poll is what can he do in the division?

To me i look at it this way. He has developed into a high class fighter, no one can really doubt that. He was top 3 in one of the strongest divisions in boxing at 168. With Taylor there now, 160 only has Pavlik, Sturm and Abraham.

It is highly likely that Mundine has a title shot straight away, and its most likely going to be against Sturm. But i will say this, wait for an official announcement.

All hyperthetical but interested in your views. As you know a move down in weight often leads to a lot more success especially when the division is weaker.

Oh **** my friend, you have learned well from me with that statement in the second to last paragh. *wink wink*. That being said, I think Mundine would be the top 3 in the division. If he brings his quickness and his power down with him he could grab himself a trinket or two when he gets the chance. Mundine vs Pavlik makes my mouth water to say the least.
