I didn't know life started from the fourth grade. He is 100% Puerto Rican as in his parents, granparents, etc. were born in PR however he was born in either Northern or Southern Carolina.

HAHA, I dont think your aware that there is a City named Carolina in Puerto Rico. When Cintron says "he was born in Carolina" he doesn't mean North or South Carolina.....

The reporter makes it seem that Cotto is more popular just because he was born in PR. But fails to acknowledge that Cotto represented PR, literally, in the 2000 Olympics.

Olympic stars in PR and US get huge head starts in boxing. Even living in the US if Cintron would've fought in the Olympics for PR the popularity gap would've been much smaller.

I'll never comprehend it. I live in NYC , I see thousands of Puerto Ricans on welfare shooting out kids like it's a game and abusing the system. But they are quick to complain about the country and their circumstances. I'm not speaking of all , but it's a large majority.

Ever been to a Cotto fight at the Garden? I love Cotto and he's humble and respectful as are alot of the fans. But you'll hear screaming and shouting over the national anthem like no other fight.

So why live here??? Stop taking a free ride and go home if you don't like it here
