Predictions on Cotto V Mayorga if it were to happen!

not sure if Mayorga can still make 147lbs but we all know he was a hell of a fighter at that weight. If the fight with cotto was to come off how do you see the fight panning out and who do you see winning.

I see cotto winning a keenly contested slug fest with a hard fought UD.

I see Cotto winning by late round KO. A hard-fought fight nonetheless.

I see a similar fight as Cotto-Torres with Cotto eventually KOing Mayorga since his defense is nothing to write home about, but he throws those nasty haymakers that can change a fight if they connect.

I'm going with the majority here: Cotto wins, but it's damn entertaining.

I can see Mayorga catching him early in the fight with a left hook or an uppercut that might rattle Miguel a bit, but he recovers nicely and ends up KO'ing Mayorga ala the Trinidad fight, probably around the 8th or 9th.

              i agree.

mayorga will have a puncher's chance the whole fight but cotto will overwhelm him to either a late fight knockout win or a big UD...

it would definately be a good fight. i imagine it would do some extremely high ppv figures and maybe drum up enough publicity to force mayweather to fight cotto or risk looking cowardly

What will be entertaining would be the press conferences. I wonder if Mayorga will try to slap him in the face...

I got Cotto by TKO 9 or 10, but Mayorga comes strong as a bull in the first round so he can win it in the first.

people don't wanna see this fight happen but I don't mind this fight at all I would like to watch it happen, it would be a really fun fight to watch and knowing all the **** Mayorga is gonna talk to Cotto would be even more interesting to watch and now that Mayorga is a little more hungry and determined ever since he beat Vargas it would be an interesting fight to watch, and it would be the only opponent that Trinidad and Cotto would have in common.
