From your viewpoint lets call Raheem and David Diaz all time greats. They caught Morales at the tailend of his career. What did Morales have like 5 losses in his last 6 or 7 fights?

And about Barrera, I said 1 of Pac's victories over Morales came after Barrera just beat Morales.

    There you go Dumbass!

It's funny how you ask for JMM to fight the very same fighters Pacman avoided. Yes, Pacman avoided Guzman after he and his promoter saw Guzman dominate Humberto Soto! What happened to the proposed bout against Valero in Macau?

It's fine to be a fan of a fighter, but at least try to look at things as they are.
do you honestly think manny is afraid of guzman or valero? i don't think diaz is any less dangerous than either of those 2. he's less skilled than guzman but he's a much bigger guy and could be as much a threat to manny as guzman and probably a lot more than valero. i just think they're not as profitable as a campaign at 135 for new belts would be.

just curious. i'm the guy that doesn't want juan manuel to take them on right now either by the way 'cause a loss might hurt the $$$$$ for a rubber match with manny.

maybe or maybe not. if you asked me 2 yrs. ago i say no. but the win against past prime barrera and depending on how canastota chooses to view his loss and draw with manny i say he gets in. definitely in if he beats manny in the 3rd bout.

Win against Past prime Barrera is just as debatable as the draw/loss with manny. Manny still doesnt get much credit for a '03 win against Barrera when he was THE guy to beat after huge wins against hamed and morales. And Manny destroyed him. Why would Marquez get legitimate credit for barely edging by an '07 Barrera who was only 1 fight away from retirement?

true but it all depends on the guys from canastota.

but a w is a w and an l is an l. a w of a past prime barrera is still a win over barrera. just like how manny's wins are over morales. me , personally , i think our boy manny is in no matter what. flyweight , junior featherweight , featherweight and super featherweight titles and big wins over 2 HOFers pretty much sealed the deal.

marquez to me is borderline but sad to say his draw and loss to manny probably got him in it believe it or not. without a draw and loss with manny i don't think he gets in as of right now.

marquez fans always talks about how overrated manny is and how he pick on washed up fighters. (which young fighter hasn't beaten an older past prime fighter to make his name?) do juan manuel fans realize that manny won his flyweight belt 4 years before juan manuel won his first world title? do marquez fans know manny took ledwaba's title at junior featherweight 2 years before juan manuel grabbed a vacant belt?

Ledwaba was also in his prime at the time. He was supposed to be the heir apparent that would unify the junior feather belts. Pacquiao took the fight on 3 days notice and still destroyed him leaving Jim Lampley and Larry Merchant's jaws on the floor. It stole the show from Lennox Lewis and Tyson and Merchant said he had just witnessed one of the best fighters in the world p4p he had ever seen. Anyone that knows boxing knows you dont go against Larry Merchant.

Well Pacquiao's next appearance on hbo didn't exactly help Larry Merchant's case at the time. A foul filled bout with Agapito Sanchez that ended up with a bad cut on Manny's eye and stopped and went to the cards after 4. But i cant wait until Merchant starts campaigning for Pacquiao #1 p4p. He probably doesnt see it happening at the moment. But he's only 2 victories away from having a solid case for himself as #1 p4p

I agree he is a few fights from p4p. It's just so frustrating to hear who his fans say he should fight. Bottom line he needs to fight the best. You don't go from a high point in your career to David Diaz. You either take on an elite fighter at LW or JrLW. Fine if he doesn't want to fight JMM again right away so be it. I know how Arum can just milk a cash cow dry. Manny doesn't need to waste time lowering his game with B fighters. This is my only frustration!

Building a legacy and entering the HOF are two different things. There are probably fighters you and I haven't heard of in the HOF, but the one's with a legacy roll off are tongues.
