The simple fact is JMM is a crying classless *****.

    And for that insult.

Pac will make him eat his words by putting him on his proper place.

LINED UP AT THE BOTTOM END.

    Begging for crumbs.

nothing dangerous though. i don't want him to get an L before the rubber match with manny.
What the hell?? I agree that JMM should fight but taking a bum filipino fighter that is not a threat will not justify either his skill or his deservedness of a 3rd fight. Pac is fighting david diaz who may not be the best lightweight but definitely poses a real threat to put an L on his record so Marquez should at least get a decent challenge like valero. If you still feel like a flip fighter is the way to go, he would get much more buzz beating Bobby Pacquiao than some undefeated higher ranked unknown.

I said it before and I'll say it again. JMM needs to clean out the super featherweights and reign supreme there then jump to 135lb and challenge Pac-man and by that time Pac-man wil be holding a title which will be an even better fight. Doing the match now is being greedy. Pacquiao doesn't want to stay at 130 anymore where its hard for him to cut weight and he shouldn't have to do anything for JMM who lost in their rematch. He's looking at bigger and better things, and if JMM wants the fight, then follow.

            his skill is already justified.

the 1st 2 fights shows his deservedness of a rubber match.

i'm talking about a what if scenario for promotional purposes. manny is the "people's" guy. for the hype and more money putting on a "black hat" and being the "bad" guy is good for business. think floyd against de la hoya and hatton. think tyson against lewis. hopkins against trinidad.

as far as fighting bum fighters? it's a tuneup. someone like jaca or jandaeng? those were his 2 fights before barrera. good solid records but not much threat.

I'm aware of what you're saying. What I am trying to say is that Pacquiao arguably won both fights and yet his "tune-up fight" is against a title holder at a higher weightclass. Not the best in the division but skilled enough and holding many advantages over him that if manny loses it would be by no means a surprise to anyone. So if Manny's tuneup fight is that big of a challenge then it's only fitting that Marquez take on an equally challenging tuneup fight like valero or soto. As far as for Marquez making himself out to be the villain...he has already begun on his path to villainship by taking the thunder of penalosa's win away from him by challenging Pacquiao right after the fight in a WWE manner. If that's the path Marquez goes with...i would still say it'd be much better marketing for Marquez to beat up Manny's brother than fight a jaca or jandaeng with a much better record but no name and no relevance to division supremacy.

rofl @ pac fans. all they can say is "your crying" when anyone points out the fact that manny won a SPLIT decision. so basically, pointing out facts = crying? rofl. ****ing amazing and funny at the same time.

Well i wouldnt exactly call it crying but look at it this way. Manny WON a SPLIT decision. Marquez LOST a split decision. So for every argument that Marquez makes for himself that the judges made the wrong decision. Just as many arguments can be made that judges made the right decision. Just look at emanuel steward, max boxing's steve kim, harold lederman and golden boy matchmaker sampson lescowitz's scorecards which all had manny winning the fight. and that's just mentioning those that were all in the same building that night. So instead of flying 16 hours to INSIST that you won whenever a microphone is put in front of you...why not heal up, get another fight and do your insisting in the ring??

im not talking about what Marquez is doing, im talking about what the fans are doing. We are saying that a 3rd fight should happen because of how close it was. not only do us fans feel that way, but also a lot of the media as well. is that crying? do you consider someone saying that the fight was too close to call crying? yes or no? also, why do Pac fans wants this NOT to happen so bad? everyone else does.

Oh. My apologies then. I definitely think a 3rd fight should happen and it's already pretty much a given that it will but I am not in the bandwagon that believe that it should happen immediately. I think the argument can be made that ther have been many close fights in boxing history that have been very close split decisions that never got a rematch, and in this case...Pacquiao arguably won both fights. Usually when 1 fighter wins 2 fights against another fighter then a trilogy is out of the question and the winning fighter moves on to greener pastures.
