Hell naw, you cant let the commentators sway your judgment. Really watch the fight and dont listen to biased commentators and see who really wins the fight. Not only with this fight, but with all fights.

Ok here are some facts. Sergio only had I think a week to prepare for Elvin Ayala. He was training for a fighter that comes right at you and wanted to fight, unlike Ayala who was not willing to stand and fight, and also trained for Kassim Ouma for a long time before that got scratched also. So to train for 2 in your face fighters and have 2 canceled fights and fight a guy who is the polar opposite of what you trained for isnt easy. His fight got moved to eralier in the day so that it could be shown on ESPN CLASSIC instead of the normal fight time of 8'o'clock it was like at 4:30pm in LA. He had been off for over a year and a half. So he had major ring rust. It's a fact the lots of fighters suffer ring rust being out for that long of a time period. See there are logical reason backed up with FACTS that lead to why he had a bad outting against Ayala. Then his last fight he still had a little bit of rust, but you could see him fight through it to eventually pull off the TKO.

And if he would have fought Jermaine in JERMAINE'S BACK YARD there is no way on god's green earth that he would have gotten the decision. Look at Spinks, Spinks kicked his ass easy and STILL lost. Even B-Hop in the 2nd fight kicked his ass, and STILL lost. Kelly Pavlik kicked his ass easy in the 1st fight, and was still 6 points behind on the score cards before the knockout. Come on, thats common knowledge.

okay thats all good, but the most important fact is that verno is a big step up, if he couldnt adapt to the lesser fighters what makes you think he will be able to do it againts a good fighter like vernon?

How is it a big step u p. It is an even match. Tell me what vernon has done since beating Mosley besides beating an old washed up slow Baldomir. What get knocked out 2X and beat some bums.
I think fighting for the wellness of your family in front of MILLION aND MiLLIONs of viewers on network TV is pressure enough in itself. If he could win under those circumstances, he can deal with the pressure of fighting Vernon.

                ahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahhahahaa hahahahahah
                ahhahahahahaahhaahhaahhahahahah

You're kidding me right? Spinks 2 punches landed per round equals beating the **** out of Taylor??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH
                AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
                AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

Taylor landed like 5 punches per round (worst fight I've ever seen in my life), I wanted Spinks to win because at the time I hated Taylor with a passion and I still thought Taylor won that fight without question.

I now understand who I'm dealing with here!!

Even B-Hop in the 2nd fight kicked his ass, and STILL lost.
Huge b-hop fan, I am. HUGE bhop fan. He did not kick his ass. It was a very close fight, bhop I thought had a narrow victory, but it wasn't a robbery and it certainly wasn't an ass kicking.

Kelly Pavlik kicked his ass easy in the 1st fight, and was still 6 points behind on the score cards before the knockout.
I dunno what the scorecards were in this case, it was pretty close up till the KO, that's for sure.

Still, you want a shot at a title (unified titles at that) HBO, exposure, millions of dollars, etc.? That's why you box. You don't turn that down when it's offered to you on a plate, you take that **** when you have the chance. Now look at him. He fell off the planet for a while, gets a draw with some no name (excuses or not doesn't matter) and is fighting a much lessor known verson forrest, who many think are past his better days.

We'll see how he does june 7th (if he shows up of course) and we'll talk again later then.

i wouldnt say Mora didnt adapt to lesser fighters, moy.....in fact he usually steps it up late......he got dropped against archack...then came back and swept the following rounds......he fought better in teh second half vs manfredo both times.....he fought better vs reagan late in the fight, he fought better vs ayal late as well...in fact sergio's problem is that he's a pretty slow starter... at least lately....maybe becaus eof the fact that he has fought sparingly for teh last 3 years...

vince philips, mosely, quartey, baldomiere, Piccirillo(not big name but solid fighter. no one in Moras list match any of these fighters.
Mora has said it him self on tv boxing is not every thing for him so that also says there is a limit to were he would let his body go.
