my bad, when I was typing I forgot to seperate Vargas and Wright from the other two, but the point is he was a great fighter and IMO and his only losses came as decisions and one NC, some controversial, but was never knocked outComment

Wrong, Ricardo Lopez.wilfredo gomez is the most universally recognised best of a certain weightclass....superbantamweight....the way chava sanchez handled him just a little up at feather may be an indicator that maybe he didnt face men as talented as to trouble him at that weight class though(that being said, wilfredo did fight the best the division had to offer at the time...)
but at lw duran is the best...mosely just doesnt have the resume.....though in a fantasy match up, id have problems picking either guy...Comment

4-0 (1 KO) with one of the decisions being pretty questionable is NOT enough to make you the greatest of all-time at that weight. Sorry.
Mosley didn't fight Johnston which is a big dent in his claim of lightweight supremacy.
Castillo has a better resume at 135 than Mosley IMO.
Duran is universally recognized as the best of all time at that weight.
Honestly, Duran is probably the most universally recognized best of a certain weight class. In other words, he is head and shoulders above the rest of the historical lightweights than say, Hagler was compared to other middleweights, or Robinson was compared to other welterweights. Holyfield's dominance at cruiserweight might compare, but idk.
Duran definately.
HELL TO THE NO. Whitaker would beat Duran at LW, IMO.Comment
