    Of course not.

For Christ's Sakes, people overrate Mosley at lightweight.

Yeah he was a terrific mix of speed and power with a great KO percentage, but look at his opponents there.

His best opponent was over Phillip Holiday.

How many of the top lightweights at the time did Shane beat?

At the time I wouldnt say that the division was stacked from bottom up, so of course he had some limited opponents. My question is do you think he is the greatest lightweight of all time, and if not how high would u rate him on the all time list?
You mean like Stevie Johnston? Cesar Bazan? Jean Mendy? Gussie Nazarov?

Mosley beat ONE guy who was considered an elite, top 3-5 lightweight at the time.

I honestly think Duran would have beat Mosley.

I gotta go with Duran. Shane was certainly great at that weight though.

Your knowlege of Mosley and his presence at Lightweight are way off!

He really beat nobody of great presence. There were fighters at his weight but he never fought them wheather it was him or other excuses. Funny thing, Mayweather at the time called out Mosleys name a million times nothing every happened and this was when Mayweather was 130 and Mosley 135.

But realisticly you're over rating Mosley big time!

A man that knows what he is talking about.

And Mosley was more hype, he could never live up to the hype he always looked gassed at light, imo. Probably due to the fact that he fought as an amature at 139 and 135 as a pro.

                    _____________________________

Imo, Mosely was a better welterweight and more fun to watch at welterweight.

Mosley is definitily top 3 LW, because of speed and power combined which many of the guys in that division didn't have at the moment, but his most recognized weight is WW because of his great fights he had with De La Hoya two times, Vargas two times, Wright two times, Frost two times, he was facing the best of the best at WW no question, but also excellent at LW
