Some people at the time also thought he was one of the best p4p after he had unified the welterweight titles (and this was when Marvin Hagler was around)... until he lost to Lloyd Honeyghan.

    Curry loses to Lloyd Honeyghan.

    Curry KO's Milton McCrory.

    Curry vs Jones

McCallum's destructive left hook KO over Donald Curry.

I think weight drain really screwed him up. He was an impressive fighter.

Do NOT believe in any way that NORRIS had a record like that. Terry was not a world class elite level amateur back then and as a matter of fact the only time I have ever even seen his name in any results section was one year he fought at either the Under 19's or the Western Trials. If he had a record like that he would have been at the Golden Gloves, the U.S. Championships, The Olympic Trials and certainly would have been a regular in the USA/ABF national rankings. But he was not

Donald Curry was a great fighter. Probably my favorite all time. His technical skills were great.

Yeah, that record is a myth like Robinson's perfect record at amateurs.

Believe me when I tell you, there are very few people who keep accurate amateur rcords. The national office doesnt even do it and when guys turn pro they are ASKED what their amateur records were. They can say anything they want. I have personally seen many kids who I know lost numerous fights but they willl claim they are 101-3 or something like that. You cannot be at the top levels of amateur boxing and have a record like that and NOT be a national champion, etc Noris was NOT a national champ ever
