Is Chad Dawson overrated?

I dont think he is underated, i think he is solid, i mean sure there a few radicals but he is a good fighter, He is still growing and learning but he is verry good, Im as sure as you can be in boxing that he is the future of the light heavyweight division

he hasnt fought alot of names because names arent willing to get in the ring with him. Tarver wont fight him. Bhop wont fight him. Calzaghe would never fight him.

He isnt a big enough name for calzaghe to fight him

From what I've seen of him, he seems to have some talent but he's nothing special. Some people do overrate him - he's world class, but not really an elite fighter, and he'll lose once he faces a highly talented prime opponent.

He does seem to be very well trained, however, and doesn't appear to have any glaring weaknesses. He's been knocked down several times in fights, but he's recovered quickly each time.

It's going to be the winner of Woods and Tarver I'd imagine if he beats Hopkins obviously.

But I don't think he would beat those 3 guys if they ever stepped in with him though.

I would love to see Mikkel smash Miranda and stop chasing Mundine, MAYBE move up and beat Dawsons ass.

Glen Johnson is close to 40 now, past his best, so it should be an easy win for the young Dawson. Johnson has 11 losses on his record.

There is ALOT of mixed feelings about this dude.

I think he's overrated, he hasn't really beaten anybody.. It's only a matter of time before we'll see Chad Dawson lose that 0.

Well obviously when you lose to the #1 fighter in your divison, and you're #2,
the #1 goes away.. What happens then?! OH ****! NUMBER 2 GOES UP TO #1!
DAMN! What a ****ing brainer... Even if Kessler was ranked #3,4,5,6 ... He would still be a man people wouldn't fight, and the man to beat. He's a former World Champion, a 39-1 fighter with 29 KO's. Miranda has balls, and so has Kessler.. So now that Kesslers plan about chasing Mundines title died, he should just see if he can get the fight with Miranda and smash THAT overrated prick into pieces.
