I have seen Dawson's 3 title fights from what I have seen he looks very good but he hasnt proved it against the best yet. Johnson even though he is not as good as he was 4 years ago is still one of the top fighters in the division if he does well against Johnson I will be impressed.

Chad Dawson is the best American fighter from MW to HW.

As a non-American, its obvious, this guy has a lot of class. Speed, technique, timing. Everything is there. If anything hes under rated.

Im not saying he would beat Kessler or Calzaghe because thats a big ask.

But he is the best fighter from the MW to LHW divisions.

Chad is quality.

Dawson's fight against Glen Johnson will prove a lot but it won't prove everything.

Johnson is 40 years old now, I don't think he has enough left in him to chase the younger Dawson around the ring to try and pressure Chad to the ropes.

I saw a similar thing happen here in Finland recently when old Yory Boy Campas fought our Finnish middleweight hope Amin Asikainen.
Campas was doing good early on and had success pressuring Amin.
The old man could have probably won in his prime but he did not have it in him to keep coming forward while taking punches at nearly 40 years of age and lost by TKO even though he was not badly hurt.

I doubt Glen Johnson will lose by KO, he will most probably lose a competitive but clear decision to the much younger Dawson.

I'm still hoping for one last great performance from Glen Johnson because he deserves the win and the world title more than anyone.
You cannot count out Glen Johnson completely because he is much more experienced and you can never know whether Dawson can handle the pressure or not.

But above all I just hope Glen won't be robbed by the judges once again.

He could still fight Roy Jones in a rematch even if he loses.

If Dawson wins, I would like to see him against the winner of Tarver vs Woods.
Unifying the LHW titles would prove that he is truly one of the best out there and could lead to big fights against Hopkins or Calzaghe.
