^^if he would of told the ref he's ok then yeah but he was not responding.......GOOD STOPPAGE......no matter how many seconds are left the ref is always looking out for the fighters safety they dont keep track of the time........

sparked_85 how can u say the Andy Lee stoppage is worst than Taylor v Chavez fight ,bigger occasion to undefeated Champions fighting for the Undisputed WW title ,Meldrick Taylor outboxed Chavez for nealry the whole fight and gets stopped with 2 seconds left ,come on

I Thought Alex Arthur was allowed to take to many shots against Michael Gomez the referee could and should of stepped in much sooner than he did, instead of that he decided to wait untill Gomez put him flat on his back

That's bull****. I've seen Steele allow fighters to continue in worse condition (Barkley-Hearns I). It is the referee's responsibility to be aware of every aspect of a fight, including the time remaining and especially if the other fighter isn't in a neutral corner as the rules require. Anyone could see that Taylor was distracted by his idiot trainer which is why he didn't respond to the ref.
