Why don't you just stand there and let a guy get beaten to death?

sparked_85 how can u say the Andy Lee stoppage is worst than Taylor v Chavez fight ,bigger occasion to undefeated Champions fighting for the Undisputed WW title ,Meldrick Taylor outboxed Chavez for nealry the whole fight and gets stopped with 2 seconds left ,come on

          I wasn't mate.

Someone posted that in between that and someone saying there must be something worse than the Calzaghe stoppage.

          Should have quoted it.

sometimes it is a good idea to inject a bit of commonsense to your thought proccess though i mean Steel new it was for the Undisputed WW title he knew it was the last round and he knew Taylor was well on top on the scorecards

I Thought Alex Arthur was allowed to take to many shots against Michael Gomez the referee could and should of stepped in much sooner than he did, instead of that he decided to wait untill Gomez put him flat on his back

That's bull****. I've seen Steele allow fighters to continue in worse condition (Barkley-Hearns I). It is the referee's responsibility to be aware of every aspect of a fight, including the time remaining and especially if the other fighter isn't in a neutral corner as the rules require. Anyone could see that Taylor was distracted by his idiot trainer which is why he didn't respond to the ref.
