What's Worst Stoppage Ever ??

Saved his life??? He basically killed him. Taylor was never the same after that.
I think it's more Lou Duva's fault then the ref's. Taylor didn't respond because Lou was shouting at him and Taylor was focused there. That or he was knocked out. The stoppage was correct, but at the same time horrifying because of what it did to Taylor afterwards.Comment

Taylor won the welterweight title afterwards. People are talking like he was in a wheelchair or something. That wasn't the last KO Meldrick suffered. His current condition reflects all of that, and it wasn't all due to the Chavez robbery.Comment

Ay, not for nothing, but I still believe the ref should have given Zab Judah a standing eight count against Kosta Zyu. Sure he was all dazed and all, but I still think he sould've been given the opportunity to recover, If, and "ONLY IF" he was still wobbling after EIGHT, then the ref should have waved it off. The MGM Grand in Las Vegas, had the "no three knock down rule", the standing eight count rule was in affect, he just couldn't be saved by the bell, in any round.Last edited by guzi815; 04-06-2008, 09:17 PM.Comment

No. Judah was knocked down, then got back up, did the chicken dance, and fell back down a second time.Ay, not for nothing, but I still believe the ref should have given Zab Judah a standing eight count against Kosta Zyu. I agree. No matter how much time is left if the boxer is not responding he is out on his feet.Comment
