JMM was pushy without being outright rude.
Crowd seemed to enjoy it, and frankly...

The third installment has always been a given.
The question is when, and staged (yes, you can believe everyone knew in
advance what was going to be said) exchanges like this help keep public
interest simmering.

Besides, it wasn't all empty hype.
There was REAL meat for boxing fans in the exchage:
Correct or not in his assessment, Pac is now on record as feeling he was
lucky that night, to win. Correct or not, Marquez is on record as STILL
convinced that he won.

Although neither opinion counts in the scorecards, aren't you now
just a LITTLE more excited to see a third fight?


Arum needs to know if there'll be enough air under a part III for a profitable
liftoff, so soon after part II, and nice video spots like this help him
and others gauge the wind, as well as keep the pot from going too cold before
they can serve it up again.

TopRank, etc. can and will adjust Pac's fight plans, to make the max $$$$,
and Pac's been consistent: he'll be happy fight anyone, anytime, but it

JMM even appeared in a show in the PI after the card. this fight would happen definitely but let pac make history. one more belt at LW aand he's definitely HOF.

the thing about the first fight is it is over just move on for sure there will be a third fight though. but i dont think it will last for 12 this time. especially at 135.

If JMM truly believes that he won those 2 fights and he also believes that the fans and boxing people are with him then he should be contented to leave it as it is...

Why would he insist on a 3rd fight when he believed he already won 2 fights... There's no logic for the winner to beg for a 3rd fight...

Man that video was garbage. They were both wayy too professional if you ask me. I was expecting them to brawl it out on the spot and get broken up after each got a couple of blows in. Would have been automatic trilogy after that went down. Pac is not afraid of jmm. He's just afraid of signing something that would sideline him for another year again. Yes Marquez speaks better english than manny. But for a 29yr old who gets beat up for a living and only has a 6th grade education to speak english at all is great. The same reason why manny doesnt make any business decisions on his own.
