I don't know about that. I kinda doubt he had any friends. He was one of the dirtiest fighters that ever lived.

lol yeah that's why i said it. enter harry greb

the man could have written an encyclopedia on dirty fighting. he'd make guys like hopkins and golota look like children on playground. not sure about nelson, i read about him but never seen any films of him (not sure if they exist) but i trust your word.

walker, greb, nelson were old school, anything went with these guys.

baldomir is tough no question especially with his ability, which he had none. just a straigh up fighter, no cute moves, no real style just going forward and landing his heat

              BUT

i saw something i didnt like. against mayweather and forrest he would get frustrated and loose his cool. on numerous occasions. he didnt know how to deal with pressure well instead of taking it in. against judah and gatti he kept his composure, because things were going his way and he wasnt in the danger zone or put into position where he had to let himself out. but i feel like his fights after his underdog victories have exposed him, not as a fraud but to the extent that made you wonder. in the mayweather fight there were moments when he wanted to quit

carlos is a tough fighter but not in the class of toughness of a chico coralles, frazier and the rest of em.

the man in my avatar was a hell of a tough sob. sadly though he was murdered about 10 years ago. got into a lifestyle of drugs and it caught up with him. The late great jesse james hughes
