He's got to do what he's got to do, but Pacquiao isn't going to fight him until October at the earliest and probably not until next year. So, I think Marquez should either fight Edwin Valero or Joan Guzman. Otherwise, maybe he should just sit out until Pacquiao is ready to fight him.
Marquez has the class not to start **** but he obviously won't go unnoticed. He might genuinely want to just take in the action but this is definitely a mind game to get at Pac. I want the rematch too but he should just focus on 130 until pac gets done with the Diaz fight, then see what's up.
Mexican great Juan Manuel Marquez is arriving early Sunday morning aboard the same flight as celebrated trainer Freddie Roach to watch the big “Invasion” fight card headlined by the WBO bantamweight title fight between Gerry Penalosa and former world champion Ratanachai Sor Vorapin a couple of hours later at the Araneta Coliseum. [details]
marquez won't get the same response that morales got in the phillipines because morales was all class when he loss and admitted that pac was the better fighter, while JMM was crying, moaning and bitching like a poor sport.
If JMM is respectful he'll get a good response, but he won't get the immediate rematch.
What he should do is fight top guys at 130 and keep winning.
Pac has more grander plans now.
How is Marquez desperate for another payday if he took 4 million dollars less than Manny so he would not cry and fight him? You see the way I see it is that unlike many other fighters out there, Marquez actually cares about his legacy more than the money. I guarantee that Top Rank will be seeking a third fight after they found out that that JMMvsPacquiao 2 was the biggest money making fight for both of the fighters.
how the **** does he seem desperate for another payday when he lost a close and argued decision? you make some of the ******est post every once in a while holmes.
