Lol, also, please remember that Hopkins was an average fighter at best at that point. He was green, and fought as a slugger, instead of his right-hand counterpunching, "I'm going to **** this fight up as much as I can to get my opponent out of his rhythm" style.

Right...the Hopkins who fought Jones was green yet somehow no one else managed to beat him for another 12 years. And maybe longer depending on who you ask.

Okay you two... what ****ing world beater did Hopkins fight during that time after he before he developed his new counterpuncher style? Trinidad was his first good fighter period after Jones, and he definately had control of the ring in that fight and was using his right hand counter effectively.

Don't give me that bull**** that the slugger, green Hopkins was even close to an elite fighter, or even on his way to becoming an elite fighter if he didn't change his style.

Just like Winky Wright wouldn't have been elite had he not changed to his defensive jab style instead of a slick southpaw.

Calzaghe is a remarkable fighter. We'll have to see though. Some of the things he does have a portion of the establishment still wondering. Let's find out how much he can wade in and flail about in compensation, with a fighter like Hopkins who can open him up and make him more honest.

Theres a difference between a huge fan and a nuthugger...

FAN: Roy jones is my favorite fighter... I think hes exciting, different, and unique, tons of accomplishments, and i LOVE watching him fight.. he made me a fan of this sport... and I definitely follow his entire career and admire what hes done.

NUTHUGGER: Roy jones is the greatest ****er to ever lace up the gloves. Even at 39, he will beat ANYONE he gets in the ring with. The knockouts were a fluke. Tarver and johnson is garbage. Roy will CRUSH calzaghe and Dawson. And STILL UNBEATABLE.

                    Catching the difference here?

Styles make fights, and based on that I'd say Winky would've been his toughest post-Jones test had they fought at 160. Even way outta top form at 170 Winky gave B-Hop trouble, enough to make the decision for Bernard a disputed won. But since we're talking factually not hypothetically I agree Joe C will be his toughest challenge.
