Cotto took Judah to a place where he did'nt wanna go and his lack of Heart ,desire, spirt ,will ,call it what u want was broken its all ties in together IMO being mentally strong etc is a part of a fighters heart and determination to keep on fighting

Look at the Baldomir fight for example. Once he started landing right hands, Judah had no answer. There was no adjustment made to get away from the right hand, other than move. Mental strength has something to do with it, but you figure he'd be able to figure out how to counter Baldomir's timing, and he couldnt.

Will makes a fighter more than anything. If you got enough willpower you can beat a guy that's superior to you in terms of actual boxing talent, or other physical stuff like speed and power.

Intelligence is the main asset to become successful in the ring.
With intelligence, you understand that you need discipline in your training.
You understand the importance of being willing to fight before you step in that ring.
You understand that you need a good defence at times.

You understand when to make adjustments, and when to avoid a fight with someone who's got more will than you can handle.

Intelligence is the name of the game, the only thing that will prevent you from being damaged in there.

For Menatal strength is a part of your make up that determines wether not u have heart

i mean when u do your road work and u make it as intense as possible , when it gets tough and u start thinking about stopping that is when u have to be mentally strong and drive yourself through the pain barrier cause if u stop then u have given in mentally and that can be concived that u quit

it all ties in for me ,determination ,Courage ,desire ,spirit ,will

all these can be concieved as a lack of heart ,the mental make up of a fighter

It got him pretty far for a guy who did not have much more than his power and determination.

So you run till you die?

I quit running all the time. Would never quit in a fight. Not ever.

That's not because it's cool taking punishment.
That's because I know sooner or later he'll be more tired than me, and then I'll get him.

True, but his inability to adjust against quality fighters got him embarrassed.

come on he had been inactive for how long and he was fighting waay out of his natural weight division against one of the best fighters in the World ,know one is saying that heart alone will get the job done but Trinidad got a hell of a long way considering he was just a puncher with a lot of heart /determination
