I thought Calzaghe was the WBA champ at 168?

      he already is, youre correct.

but apparently, there are two WBA Super Middleweight titles. that makes sense, right?

this fight just kind of irritates me. Mundine isnt a bad fighter, but
      1. Mundine does NOT bring in nearly as much money as Miranda
      2. Kessler already beat him pretty convincingly
      3. There is no way in hell that Kessler vs Mundine would be a more fun fight to watch than Kessler vs Miranda.

seriously, this is a dumb fight. I was actually pretty excited about Miranda vs Kessler. Kessler will get nothing from this. The WBA title is a joke anyways, and he would be getting the 2nd(even more worthless kind) version of it.

and no, he would not be the RING champion, Calzaghe still is. even tho he will be moving up to fight Bernard, he will stay Champ, just as Mayweather stayed champ at 147 when he beat Oscar.

        1 and 2 are false.

Kessler will make anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 million from fighting Choc. Compared to 600 000 against MIranda.

Also Kessler beat Mundine by the same margin that Calzaghe beat Kessler.

Anyways im thinking Mundine vs Froch will happen. Mundine will get out of it by trying to unify. A much better option.

Why would this fight be in America? That makes no sense at all.

The fight will be in Australia or Denmark, no where else.

ha i think its pretty funny how you act like you know what they're going to make... Marquez made like 2 million for a fight that did over 400,000 buys on PPV, and you think Kessler is going to get 2.5 for a fight that probably wont even see US television??

I would think the fight will be in Australia, Mundine is the world champion and will want the home fight. I hope it is anyway, means I can go

Just wait it out and see. Patience.

seriously where are you living? i know you have heard it before but NO ONE CARES about these guys in the states. They could walk around and not be noticed at all. If they want to fight for a belt that means nothing thats fine, im sure their countries will eat it up, but to think this fight will be big in the US is ridiculous. Calzaghe-Kessler was the lowest rated WCB on HBO, and you think this fight will do well? Calzaghe is the undisputed champion any couldnt even make PPV because of his low ratings, yet you think two contenders are going to gain interest, it makes no sense.

Why do these guys need the states?

There going to make 2 million each from the fight.

Its only the States loss. I have said it for a while, the American boxing public are more focused on local fighters, and can not identify talent beyond there borders. Wait for Calzaghe to show you.
