I'd say it was a combination of Lacy being over-rated and Calzaghe being under-rated. I guess you could call that being exposed but I just don't really fancy the term "exposed."

I think it's a little bit of both, b/c IMO Jeff Lacy wasn't **** to begin with! People looked at his frame & saw (his supposed) 1-punch K.O. power & thought "hey There's our new Mike Tyson right there" All I saw was a wide swinging, poor footwork, no defense having slow plodder! I guess you can say he was exposed b/c (they'll try to defend it now) A LOT of people (fans & experts alike) predicted him to be the next best thing since sliced bread...

Most hardcore American fans had NEVER saw Calzaghe fight b-4 (me included), so like a true YANK I figured Lacy would knock this guy out anyway b/c once again who is Joe? If I would have seen at LEAST 1 Calzaghe fight I would have realized he was too slick for the 1 dimensional Lacy!
