laczano=tune-up.. hatton just got knocked out. he can't take a tune-up fight..he will probably fight malignaggi after that a top tier jrww. Maybe he fights witter after that. but this fight is a tuneup, no one is claiming laczano is a world beater

The problem though is that Hatton comes out with a new excuse every day not to fight Witter, most of them being some variant of "he said something nasty about me in 2003".

He's been doing it for years. I like Hatton, but he needs to stop acting like he's ducking the guy.

I understand where you are coming from....but I have followed Witters mediocre career and so far nothing stands out even with his trinkets.
On paper he looks great... in the flesh is another story.

Hatton's career was mediocre to say the least until he fought Mayweather who he lost to, Who did hatton beat to get a shot at Tsyzu? I tell you NOBODY ranked at IBF..His ranking was paid for by Frank warren, You can question Witter's resume all you want but he is the only fighter at 140 who has actually beat 4 of the current ranked top 10 fighter on the ring magazine's list something that Hatton hasnt even done at 140.

Lazcano lost to Vivian Harris, who Witter just KO'd.
Malignaggi's best win was probably against N'Dou, who Witter had already beaten.
