To be honest I have no interest in Hatton fighting him.

I understand where you are coming from....but I have followed Witters mediocre career and so far nothing stands out even with his trinkets.
On paper he looks great... in the flesh is another story.

laczano=tune-up.. hatton just got knocked out. he can't take a tune-up fight..he will probably fight malignaggi after that a top tier jrww. Maybe he fights witter after that. but this fight is a tuneup, no one is claiming laczano is a world beater

If Witter's such a nobody, and if he sells more tickets than Laczano, there is no reason why Hatton shouldn't get the fight made and stomp the **** out of him AND sell more tickets while he's at it. Easy night's work for Rick, considering Witter is just a nobody who has only beaten nobodies, wouldn't you say? The perfect tune-up? And Witter doesn't even want paying for it!
