Goes to Show the Lack of Aggressive MArketing on the Top Rank staff...This is what UFC does good they hype, and market and sell and pitch a fight like crazy.

I never even heard this fight be talked about at all on tv, or radio I live on the westcoast.

ITs BS they should be selling this fight like crazy especially since its on regular HBO not ppv.

Im still trying to figure out how fighting Gomez is suppose to give Cotto more exposure. COTTO IS MORE KNOWN THAT GOMEZ! If anything, its giving GOMEZ exposure.

yea thats good. It should be a sweet fight for the first half before Cotto takes over with the body punches and Gomez starts to collapse like always.

Man i mean i wanna get excited about this card but i just cant, i personally dont see either being competitive, there both mismatches imho.

Cotto clearly is the favorite but I wouldn't call Cotto-Gomez a mismatch. Gomez can get hit quite a bit at times which is bad news for him against Cotto, but hes larger and also defeated much larger opponents than Cotto. He has also progressed well over the years and seems to improve with each fight. This fight he will certainly try hard and theres also a chance Cotto is going to be a little more relaxed in his training as he has been rumored to do at times.
