    COTTO-GOMEZ, struggling to sell Tickets???

LOTS of seats available, less then 2 weeks to go... any idea how the tickets are going???

Very weak promotion for this fight btw. They have a lot of radio ads playing that i hear all the time, but thats basically all i have seen...

I read an article not too long ago that said they were off to a good start. I cant see how this wouldnt be close to a sell out. Margarito has a pretty good fanbase too, and Gomez is well known as well.

This is a massive mismatch no one is buying the point in this fight.

Yea, im sure the floor seats are sold out. But i was expecting tickets to fly off the shelves. I mean u sellout the garden once, 18,000 tickets the next time... u'd think he could sell 12,000 seats in a stadium 3 hours away easy right? or am i off in thinking that?

Do you guys honestly think Gomez even has a remote chance? thats why the tickets are struggling imo.

Is 12,000 the capacity? I dont know I figure 10,000 is a success if its this type of fight.

Goes to Show the Lack of Aggressive MArketing on the Top Rank staff...This is what UFC does good they hype, and market and sell and pitch a fight like crazy.

Boxing Promoters only Market there PPV shows it seems, they dont really pitch the shows they put on basic cable or premium.

I never even heard this fight be talked about at all on tv, or radio I live on the westcoast.

ITs BS they should be selling this fight like crazy especially since its on regular HBO not ppv.

the card is gonna be a barn burner.
