How come no one is giving Hopkins a chance?

Especially when Hopkins can counter punch southpaws in his sleep. Especially when Calzaghe leaves himself squared up a lot. Hopkins is much slower, he's older, but then again age is overrated imo. He's not fighting a lot, he's fresh, he's never been the type to rely on athleticism either.

However Cortez being the ref complicates things. Hopkins needs to headbutt, hold, hit after the break, etc. to win the fight.

except 5 of the 6 who actually mattered, and Calzaghe is on a different planet than Taylor.

Winky and Tarver did not bring activity to the table, Taylor did (and did not bring anything else), Calzaghe will.

Big ****ing deal, We all know Calzaghe has been in soft as a pro and a champion so what about the amateurs. Was he fighting the best then? How many world competitions did he win? Did he go to the Olympics? Did he win the Pan am games? No? Then shut the **** up!
