Yemen wasn't it. Although quite why they'd leave there for the desolation and 3rd world hovel that is Sheffield only his parents know.
As to the rather silly question, is it at all surprising considering half the world, including the English themselves, use the terms English and British interchangeably? Although I'm not sure of the logic of calling Calzaghe english when his Mam is Welsh and Dad is Italian.

I agree, it's confusing to have Welsh / Italian parents and then represent the UK / Britain, but my understanding is that if you're born in London, you are a citizen of England, and therefore represent England.Yemen wasn't it.
