Still, my point was that I find it bizarre how someone can say he's technically terrible.

Well someone needs to give ''bad'' Chad a shot soon so he can get more recognition. I honestly see Dawson cleaning up the entire 175 LBS area. Hopkins will be a tough fight for Calzaghe and there is no guarantee that he will beat him so looking past Hopkins is something that he wouldn't want to do.
I see Calzaghe beating Pavlik by convincing decision. Too skilled, too slick, too fast and too good of a pure boxer for a guy with Pavlik's style but it won't be an easy fight. Taylor showed us that if you can keep the fight in the center of the ring and avoid the ropes, then you could out box him. Pavlik matching well against any slick boxer is something that i don't see happening. He should just stay at middleweight for as long as he can to accomplish most of his success down there because he will run into some problems at 168.
I am a fan of all of these fighters so i want to see all of them do well.

Pavlik KO7
Like he stopped Taylor in the 2nd fight, right?

I disagree with balance issues. If his balance was bad he'd have been on the deck more than twice in his pro career, and he is comfortable dropping his hands. I think he does that to appear more confident against his opponents. I wouldn't do it myself, but he's comfortable doing it.

I agree that he's not technically 'terrible'.
