It's all about the way in which he's doing it. He's not taking care of business here in Boxing world. He's doing pro wrestling, Dancing With The stars.. It's all about taste - the majority of serious red blooded sports fans think that kind of **** is a ****ing joke. You don't??

Yeah, it's a slap in the face to boxing and the fans the way he treats the sport that made him rich. He's talking about leaving boxing for wrestling. Is there a bigger step down an athlete can take than to get involved with wrestling? He talks about being the greatest fighter ever when he's far from it and hasn't come close to proving it. He talks about giving the fans what they want, but when all he hears is mention of guys like Cotto, Margarito, etc. he doesn't want to talk about it. I completely lost any respect for this man the moment I heard they're considering a rematch with Hatton. If no one wants to see a close, boring rematch with DLH then why the **** would anyone want to see a rematch of a lopsided ass whipping?

The biggest stepdown is exchanging boxing for wrestling.

It would probably count as one of the lowest of the low.

do i think Floyd Mayweather is very overrated? yeah. do i think he's a joke? no. First of all, no sane person would fight somebody twice there size. The WWE (if you didn't know already) is fixed, not real. i wouldn't be surprised if Mayweather "won". 2nd, Mayweathers all about the cash and the fight with DLH will bring lots of it. I agree it would make a **** fight, but i'd probably go to the bar and watch it anyways. So do i think he's #1 P4P? No. But he's no joke. Ask the 30-somthing opponents he's faced.

If it wasnt about the money he would have unified, seriously if he can whip all of the top welter weights he needs to fight them rather than rehashing a rematch with DLH who is past his better years but perhaps that fight was too close for comfort as far as Floyd is concerned after all he barley got by in that fight by a single point SD over the older version of DLH.
a rematch with Hatton only proves that Floyd is looking to make as much as he can before having to face the reality of put up or shut up and its looking like he is simply cashing in and going to take off after its done, to me its as if Floyd doesnt want to fight Cotto Cintron Margarito or Quintanna or perhaps even Williams then mix in the up comming welters it looks like Floyd himself knows that danger lurks in the future so why not just take advantage of what he can and cash out before he is placed in a position in which he has no other choice but to take one of those fights that he is seemingly avoiding in other words get the money where it is now before Cotto or someone else is the only option for Floyd to make money.
