I like Ricky Hatton, but I dont see how anyone could like a fighter this much, to defend him to this point, when he's obviously ducking a fight. You would think they were related to Hatton. It seems like you guys got the obsession, not witter.

It isn't just about Witter wanting a fight - that's understandable. But it seems in EVERY INTERVIEW during the last couple of years all Witter wants to talk about is Hatton!

It's become his obsession, his only focus, so he needs to give it a rest for awhile. If he would get a couple of good wins on his resume, then Hatton will want to fight him. Right now, Witter is just the nobody who lost to Zab Judah.

I think Hatton should fight lazcano and malignaggi and then if junior is still champion he must fight him. at that point he will have no excuses.

I will never call a pro fighter a coward. Hatton needs to fight Witter IMO to clear up things. This is step closer to unifying the belts at 140. I hold Floyd to that standard and I hold Hatton to that standard.( clean out the division to become the man of your division)

I'm American, and all we hear over here about Witter is that he cries and cries because Hatton prefers to take more lucrative fights with opponents like Tszyu, Malignaggi and Mayweather...

Over here, only a few hard-core boxing fans have heard of Witter, but everyone who watches boxing knows who Hatton is, especially since his fights on HBO!

The difference is Cotto > Witter.

Cotto has defeated a lot of good opponents, such as Malignaggi, Mosley, Quintana, Torres, and of course Judah, the guy who defeated Witter!

Cotto is a big star, Witter is a nobody.

Hatton doesn't want to fight a mouthy nobody, when he can fight Malignaggi and Mayweather again!
