Its a shame has this fight would of been a good all british clash; and could concrete either fighters legacy. How can the UK have the top fighter & number 1 contender @ 140 and it not be a big fight. Hatton is doing the british fight fans out of classic bout!

Hatton is no longer the fighter/boxer he was - he has now officially become the celeb/crowd puller our very own de la hoya...

Think about it 55,000 fans will show up at Eastlands to watch hatton fight against somebody who 54,800 of the fans have never heard of before! This fight could of easily been against witter and still done these numbers if not more...

But if hatton was to face witter and lose he's officially damaged goods (his loss to mayweather can be justified as he was fighting the quote on quote worlds best boxer)

Golden Boy & HBO know what following hatton has, if he can sell 55,000 tickets against someone who the majority of the fans don't know/have never even heard of - his stock is worth more than berkshire hathaway!

All credit to Hatton, yes he should milk it but if he considers himself as a true fighting champion then he HAS to throw witter into the mix.... if he doesn't then there will always be a question mark over this situation.

Hattons future plans will go like this: 2008: Lazcano(warm up)>Paulie>"another warm up" 2009: Mayweather> then possibly maybe witter.
