i don't see how everyone or at least the clear majority don't vote for team 1.

ali would beat everyone on team 2.

foreman was more intimidating and more devastating than tyson. go watch foreman-frazier to see what would happen in foreman-tyson. though mike had a better chin and bigger and faster so it will go a lot longer and more competitive.

jim lampley shouldn't even be compared to howard cossell. that's like putting klistchko living in the same area code as ali or peter in the same sentence as joe louis.

the weakness in team 1 is frazier but holmes shouldn't even be in team 2 it should be holyfield. holmes was a different era. if you're gonna put holmes in team 2 then i want liston in team 1 to replace frazier.

The best 3 fight series I'd like to see is this, with the most anticipated first:
          Foreman-Tyson
          Ali-Lewis
          Frazier-Holmes.

Edit: I forgot the commentators: I like a prime Cosell. I wanna hear him again screaming "Down goes Frazier, down goes Frazier!!!"
I think out of all those possible match ups, I'd like to see Tyson vs. Ali since so many have contemplated the outcome of this fight, even though I'm quite certain that Ali would win. I'd also like to see Foreman vs. Holmes.

          I like team 1 over team 2..

                tyson?

                he'll probably beat frazier.

but tyson wouldn't have even beaten any of his own teammates except lampley.

cause Norton could've replaced Cosell and Holyfield/Bowe etc could've replaced Lampley.
That's some serous crack smokin' there. No way Lewis beats a Prime ALI or George.

bad matchup against holmes. i think holmes would keep him away.

frazier is a slow starter and that's not good against a fast starter like mike.

lewis is too big for frazier. at lease ali is 6'3 and could use his excellent footwork against lennox. foreman only needs one roundhouse right to put lennox to sleep.

i don't think liston would do much better than frazier but just complaining about holmes being on team 2 since his era was before mike's and lennox. it should be holyfield on there and i think joe takes him.

Well looking at the teams I think Ali>Lennox, Frazier>Tyson, and Holmes>Foreman. Mike was a fast starter but he really had nothing to offer from round 6 on. I believe Frazier could weather any storm Mike throws at him in the beginning rounds and goes on to make Tyson look silly in the second half of the fight.
