I'm curious which one you think he got robbed in. I haven't seen the Diaz fight by the way, so don't jump my nuts if that fight was a clear win for Diaz.

I can't think of any American champion in the sport that is potentially less profitable than Cory Spinks. He has no power, and no desire to ever bring it. He doesn't even get lucky and KO someone ever, because he does have absolutely no pop on his shot.

He also is pretty slick, but not a defensive guru. Someone like Floyd can be fun to watch because he literally can hit and not get hit. Someone like Cory Spinks usually wins a bunch of close rounds with little to no action, so you don't even feel like you are seeing a clinic.

Slicksters are okay to watch, but if they get hit a lot and just outjab their opponent without any thought other than scoring enough to win a round, they are definately setting up all the ingredients for a dreadfully boring fight.

I watched it with the sound off, Spinks was throwing punches but he wasn't landing alot of them. I saw Verno landing flush punches on Cory's face. After the first four rounds i had the fight a draw, after eight i had it 5-3 (Verno), after 12 i had it 7-5. The fight was alot closer than u had it, your problem is you let that biased announcer get to you.

Cory Spinks and Devon Alexander like to do the exact same thing.

They like to throw punches at people gloves from the outside. I don't get it. They throw lots of punches, but they don't try and hit people. Just their gloves.

Even though i havent see the fight alot of people across different Website are calling it one of the worst robberies of the decade, But from all the reports are getting Corey spinks doesnt seem to be complaining..So i smell something fishy there...I think you might have score the fight to vernon philips because Spinks UD your hero Mayorga.
