Too sum this Mayweather stuff up

I hear people on hear sayin alot about Floyd and thats ok but lets be real and not dumb for a minute...

    1. Running from Antonio Margarito: Lets be honest is this guy someone who is going to affect Floyd's leagcy when he retires just because he didnt fight him....Simply put NO...i mean the guy has 5 losses and 4 were to bums and 1 to an overrated annorexic. He was never the lineal champ in any weight class and yall act like the man is a multi division champ.

    2. Ducking Cotto: Hmmm i really dont see how Floyd is ducking this man and Cotto really just got on the seen. Judah and Mosley are his only 2 victims...and who else again.....Floyd is rite he never said he wouldnt fight cotto he just said that he is waiting for Cotto to become a bigger name(whats wrong with that).

    3. Fights to cautious: i mean alot of people say Floyd is boring..so hmmm let me see...do u want him to b entertaining like Roy Jones and get what Roy got or end up like one of the greatest of all time (ALi). If the man fights cautious let him be as long as he is winning fights. I mean this is one of the most brutal sports.

    4. Fights none of the best welterweights: i spoke on Cotto earlier..but besides him who else is he gon fight and it is goin to b an hard fight for Floyd. Cintron? please.... P Williams.....all i need to say is Quintana

    5. Fighting Big Show for 20 million: can u guys give Floyd a break on this one...wrestling nowadays is acting to the fullest...do u really think Floyd would take the risk of getting seriously hurt...i doubt it...and who wouldnt do this for the kind of payday he is getting.

All im saying is people need to give Floyd a break and let him be. Lets not critize such a great boxer so harshly.

i've never really gone out there and called PBF a ducker or whatever, but can someone explain this to me.

I understand Floyd declining to fight Margo because he wanted other options that could bring more to the table. I get it. Thats why he fought Baldi right? But what about Mitchelle and Bruselles? Why would you turn down an 8 Mill payday and not fight someone who he could have easily beaten who ALSO possesed a belt?

This is how ridiculous what you're saying is. Basically, because there are no "hard" fights for him in the Welter Division according to you, he should have to fight anyone? Yet you're giving him a pass for giving rematches to 2 fighters who ARENT even Welterweights and has already beaten CONVINCINGLY?

Why? Why is it so hard for the most devoted fans to admit something is wrong here? How is it possible that you see NOTHING wrong with this picture?

Bru wasn't even at 147 and it was an eliminator to get to Gatti. Mitchell was a tune up to get acclimated to 147. I don't know about you but I would want a fight to get me accustomed to the weight before the bigger bouts. People act like Floyd can fight everyone on earth, it's ree****yaluss.

This is All fine.... He just needs to drop the Belt.. he hasn't legitimately defended in a year and half.. and counting.. and let the guys who WANT to be WelterWeight boxers get on with things..

As a fan of boxing .. it hurts a bit to say this.. But I think it's Time Floyd just went away.. and got on with whatever dreams of stardom he has.. I think he has outgrown Boxing.. I mean even some his most hardcore fans are starting to smell the FISH ><>

Although you have some points, the problem comes into play when you contradict certain aspects of your own argument.

You claim his legacy wouldn't be HELPED by fighting Margarito, which I agree with in a CERTAIN SENSE. You then claim, however, that nothing is wrong with fighting for the money, in a round about way. Claiming that he's just waiting on Cotto so that he's a bigger star. Does that help his legacy either? I don't think so.

You also claim that he doesn't fight as exciting as he should. Although, I hate this argument because he's winning and he's entertaining in a different aspect, you went about it wrong. Comparing him to Ali is insane, as Ali had HIGH PROFILE fights that were full of authentic drama. Mayweather? Not so much.

HOWEVER, when Mayweather fights someone his own size, or AROUND it, he's entertaining. In truth, De La Hoya is a stronger and bigger guy and so is/was Baldy. I can't really blame him for not finishing them. He did what he had to do with Hatton.

Overall, back to the Cotto thing, he is ducking him. In a certain sense atleast. Hell, he even ducked questions about him in the buildup to his fight with Hatton. He said he'd fight Mosley. When asked about Cotto, he would say he's not on the level or some BULL like that. When Cotto has been a bigger draw then Mosley in some regard for a while now. Cotto/Judah numbers were pretty good. Cotto/Mosley numbers were nice.

Let's wait to see what the number for Mosley/Judah are, and see how much he needs them. Cotto is a big enough star. He's just a big enough risk for Mayweather to not want the fight. I defend Mayweather all the time, but this issue isn't easy to defend.
