        Myths:

Marvin Hagler was a brawler: brought upon by casual/new boxing fans who haven't seen many of his fights.

Jake LaMotta was a skilless defensive brawler with power: brought upon by a great film, or people watching clips of an old LaMotta, or the 6th fight with Robinson.

George Foreman was dominating Muhammad Ali before he fatigued: Ali was countering Foreman's dumbass off the ropes with nice clean right hands all night long. Foreman got owned by Ali plain and simple.

**** Tarver. He had a damn good performance against Glen Johnson in the rematch but that's about it. He's an asterisk on RJJ's resume, but he has no identity of his own without that 1 punch wonder night.

Hopkins' legend might just take the cake. At least at this point.

How the **** is he a damn legend?

I love that guy, but shiiiit..

Listening to the British press calling him a "living legend" in the run-up for the Calzaghe fight just feels creepy..

Tarver's alleged 'talent' is also offensive. It's an insult.

Do you realize who was ranked #1 p4p before Mayweather?

                      Bernard Hopkins.

After Jones lost to Tarver in the rematch, these are the fights the p4p king at the time, Bernard Hopkins, had.

                      -Robert Allen 3
                      -Oscar De La Fishnet
                      -Howard Eastman
                      -Jermaine Taylor

B-Hop as p4p king made Floyd Mayweather look like Matthew Saad Muhammad in excitement.
