what will it take to get mayweather off the #1 p4p spot??

there are a few real boxing fans who have moved a real fighter like pacquio into the #1 p4p because he is fighting the best and also giving the fan excitement. but there are still many people on the boxing scene who keep mayweather as the #1 even though he has not fought a tough challenge in many years. its not like he does not have options because he is in the best division in boxing right now and there is a top p4p undefeated fighter as his #1 contender that he keeps ducking and his name is cotto. there is also a man he has run from for years named margarito who is a top 20 p4p. this man just refuses to fight the best and is just living off easy paydays for many years.

if you have mayweather #1 p4p how long will you watch him take easy fights and keep him as your #1?? what will it take for you to move this man from your #1 p4p spot??

A loss. He cant be removed (in my opinion) until he loses or retires. if he only had 1 fight every 2 years and took on bums he still would be a the best skilled boxer on the planet since roy jones

Quite possibly the most rediculous thing I've ever heard.

I agree. He could be fighting once a year and only WWE stars and he would still be number one in my book.

if just did WWE then he wouldnt be a boxer would he!

so if pac fights once a month against tuff comp how does that make him more technically skilled than floyd??

as i said.. pound for pound i would say is skill. not heart and all that ****. skills.

i have just noticed a massive flaw in my reasoning tho...

if calz did infact beat hops and pav then i suppose he would also be technically skilled up the ass.. ****

Pacquiao and Calzaghe(after he beats B-HOP) should get the top 2 spot and Floyd should jump to number 3.. It's just not about skills, it is also giving excitement to the crowd and fighting the best in the division..

Pacquaio is being lined up to fight for another belt Diaz, Casa or Campbell and there's a posibility that he'll fight all three one at a time.

Calzaghe beat Kessler and Lacy and moving up to face B-HOP..

Now who is Floyd fighting? Oscar and the Big Show? Both fights won't contribute to his P4P status.. Floyd said he is only open to Hatton and Oscar rematches.. After Oscar, he is already planning on fighting Hatton at Wembley in 2009... Joe and Pac are fighting the biggest threat right now and Floyd is fighting OSCAR AND THE BIG SHOW?

I mean if Floyd beat Oscar this year and Hatton in 2009.. I won't even be surprise if Floyd fights Oscar for a trilogy even if it is 2-0..
